Stephen Fite Concerts Coming to Northwest Arkansas
Award-winning musician Stephen Fite will be appearing in concert in Springdale, Alma, and Greenwood this spring. His high-energy concerts for ages 3 to 7 combine excitement and learning to make a perfect school field trip or family outing.
Fite has recently released his 16th album of children's music. His tunes are original, educational songs with a danceable beat. Fite has won 13 awards for his music. Previous albums include "Gobs of Fun," "Rockin' the Day Away," and "Monkey Business."
The newest release, "All Aboard for Learning," has a railroad theme. Songs include "Brain Train" and a festive update of "I've Been Working on the Railroad." Other songs include "Number Limbo," "Put Some Peanut Butter On It," and songs for learning directions, skip counting, and days of the week in Spanish and in English.
Local teacher store The Education Station has Fite's CDs and forms for reserving tickets for his concerts. Owner Pam Gilbreath jokes that she is especially excited about this tour because the souvenir T-shirts are printed with "The Education Station."
"We've worked with Stephen for years," Gilbreath says, "so he might have been thinking of us when he put that phrase into the new song, 'Brain Train.' We'll have to ask him."
While the concerts are on March 12 in Springdale and May 8 in Alma, deadlines for reservations are in February, and Fite's concerts often sell out early.
"It can take awhile to get all the planning and preparation done when you have a field trip to get together for a school or preschool," says Springdale store manager Jamie Wetsell. "It's not too early to begin the process."
Manager Rebecca Haden points out that classes can do a lot of learning around an upcoming field trip. "Planning a unit that supports the field trip and learning some songs from the CD can enrich the experience," Haden suggests.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS EDUCATIONAL FAIR JULY 18, 2007
The Education Station's annual Educational Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18th, at the Springdale store at Ozark Center Point Place.
For a decade now, the Educational Fair has been the kick-off to the Back to School season for area teachers. It is an opportunity to see the newest classroom materials, network with fellow teachers, and take home free goodies. This year, there will also be make-and-take stations and games.

Gospel Singing Jubilee

WE HAVE A 2003 CUAD CAB CHEVROLET SILVERODO DUALLY PURCHASED ON 6/26/2003 HAS BEEN IN SERVICE AT LANDERS 35 TIMES FOR ELECTRICAL SHORTS ALL THROUGH THIS TRUCK 2 DAYS AFTER WE PURCHASED IT WAS BROUGHT IN WITH A BLOWN HEAD LIGHT THAT GOT HOT AND BLEW OUT, (AFTER 7 ATTEMPS TRYING TO GET THEM TO REPLACE IT WE TOOK THE TRUCK TO ANOTHER DEALER. THE CD PLAYER GOT HOT ON THE WAY BRINGING IT HOME !! BURNED MY FINGERS EJECTING THE CD, THE AC UNIT CONTROLL SHORTED OUT, ABS LIGHT CAME ON AND THE ODOMITER SHOWED BRAKE SYSTEAM FAILURE, TRANSMITION WENT OUT AND REVERSE AT 32,000 MILES WE WAITED 2 WEEKS TO GET IT BACK WITH NO RENTAL PROVIDED!WE TOOK IT BACK IN BECAUSE THE BRAKES WAS GOING TO THE FLOOR NOT POWERING UP AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO AND STERING WAS LOOSE AND FUSES KEPT BLOWING OUT ODOMITER SHOWED 0 MPH OR 20 MPH WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH CLUSTER SHORTED OUT ON 11/6 OF 2004 WE TOOK IT BACK IN AND AS ALL WAY S" WE CAN not DIAGNOSTIC THE PROBLEM" THEN THEY CALLED OUR CREDIT UNION TOLD THEM WE WAS HAULING HEAVY EQUIPMENT,BOLDERS ETC. 3 times we was abandond by landers chevrolet. auto group/ united auto group/general motors in arkansas we have been repeatedly been taken advantage of 1 truck 2000 f 350 dually we traded in signed contract and paid $9,800.00 on a 2003 f 355 sport dually was told they was giving us $25,000 on our trade in. that we paid for, and never got told us it got stolen (but they never paid, for the truck in texas or wonted to dealer in texas stated after taking our money then sold our trade in befor we got what we paid for (thats e-legal)THEN SWAPED US IN TO THIS 2003 CHEVROLET SILVERODO ONLY GIVING US $17,000 TRADE IN AFTER SIGNING A CONTRACT AND SALING OUR TRUCK WE HAD NO TRANSPORTATION THIS ELECTRICAL REJECT 35 TIMES IN SERVICE THAT THEY WONT REPLACE OR REFUND WE ARE GOING LIVE ON TV IN A FEW WEEKS TO GET THERE ATTENTION REV; ROBERT WHITE AND FAMILY

please go to web sit CX.ORG to see a picture and what has happened,there has been approx 200 complaints with the attorney generals office in Arkansas, and nothing is being done, the motor vehical commission sent them our complaints but will not allow us a hearing? as we have requested "WERE NOT HAPPY " REV: ROBERT WHITE AND MY FAMILY HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, by this dealership we deleavered, on 11/6/2004 this truck was brought back because the cluster is completly out this is when they got our EXTENDED warrenty canceled we paid for. today 8/4/2005 it is still on there lot let me know what you all think ok may God bless.
