Car Jacking - Unknown Suspect

Wilmington- Delaware State Police are seeking the publics assistance in identifying a white male suspect who attempted to steal a 68-year-old male victims vehicle. The incident occurred Friday, June 17, at the 7-11 located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard.

At approximately 5 19 a.m., the suspect approached the victim in the parking lot and demanded his car keys. The victim refused to hand over his keys, so the suspect attempted to forcibly take them from him. The victim was able to fend off the suspect and the suspect was last seen running into a wooded area behind the store.

The suspect was described as being approximately 25 to 27 years old, 5 10 tall, 180 pounds, with blond hair, and he was wearing a pink and white-stripped shirt, jean shorts, and white shoes.

Anyone with information about this suspects identity is asked to contact Troop 2 at (302) 834-2620 Ext. 4.

The victim was not injured during the incident.
